Superman/Doc Savage Batman/Randolph Carter versus Cthulhu.
Lovecraft seems to be making a resurgence at the moment - but when you see how many other creators he has influenced maybe he never went away (Alan Moore, Ed Brubaker, Mike MIgnola, etc.)
It was fun to reproduce the 1930s versions of Superman and Batman to accompany Doc Savage and Randolph Carter (who is based very much on Lovecraft himself)
I should have made Cthulhu scarier though...

Oh god H.P. Musclecraft

I do not know what to make of this.

Well, I hope you don't hate it!
Any reference to Lovecraft's works is really a compliment, and this has Innsmouth, Carter and Cthulhu all in one.

It's really great. It's just weird seeing skinny, nerdy Lovecraft all tough and muscley.

I think you are right - Carter/Lovecraft does look broader-shouldered than he should. OK - fixed!

I would take a Perks adaptation of Lovecraft's works any old time.

Yes, I would like that very much indeed.

Wonderful character mash-up. Spot-on portrayal of 1930's pulp fiction. Lovecraft is one of those writers who seems to go through periods of obscurity only to surge to prominence in the minds of writers and readers alike every couple of years. The style you've used has perfectly captures the dark, neurotic energy of his works (I’m a huge fan – I always kinda hoped Cthulhu would return and create a distraction before I had to take my final maths exam back when I was in high school but alas, no luck there.)

Have you read Alan Moore's Neonomicon? Strong stuff. In fact if anyone without the critical clout of Alan Moore had written such sexual violence I doubt the publishers would have risked printing it. However... it IS good - nothing is gratuitous and it is powerful. And very Lovecraft.
Sorry about your Maths exam.

Ah, the Maths exams was over a decade ago and I've never found any use for geometry in my adult life so it's fine. Unfortunately, I've never read Moore's Neonomicon although I have heard of it. The sexual aspects of it seemed to attract quite a bit of controversy but it sounds like they were necessary to the plot. What style is the art?

Art style is typical Jacen Burrows; Not my favourite but OK here. sample pages are google-able. Worth giving them a read before you think of buying it or anything...
Difficult to discuss how necessary the sexual aspects are without spoilers. Pretty unpleasant but... the HORROR!! So I guess it works.
